Our breakthrough MultiGlo™ technology combines 5 different wavelengths of light in two powerful modes.

LED light therapy is a non-invasive treatment method that involves using a face mask to deliver light energy to the skin in the facial area.

Here is an overview of the different colors and their potential uses in LED light therapy:

Red Light: Red LED light is commonly used for skin rejuvenation. It can stimulate collagen production, increase blood circulation, reduce wrinkles and fine lines, and improve skin texture. Red light can also be useful in treating inflammation and providing pain relief.

Yellow Light: Yellow LED light is frequently employed to promote skin elasticity and reduce redness and inflammation. It can stimulate collagen production and have a calming effect on the skin.

The Koanna® LED face mask was developed with safety in mind. This FDA-cleared light therapy has been scientifically proven safe for all skin types and the eyes.

It uses natural light waves without generating heat or UV light and offers optional eye pads for added comfort and protection.

The Koanna LED Mask allows you to enjoy light therapy while being mobile and engaged in various activities.

With a digital controller and built-in battery, you can incorporate skincare into your busy lifestyle, whether you're exercising, watching TV, working on the computer, or simply relaxing.

The optional eye comfort pads are provided to reduce brightness and enhance multitasking.

Step 1 - Gently Clean and dry your face. We do not recommend using the mask when wearing make-up.

Step 2 - Put the mask on and fasten using the straps provided. The advanced silicone design means the mask fits comfortably on your face.

Step 3 - Choose your time (10-30 minutes), select your mode, then lie back, relax and enjoy some me-time.

For the best results use 3 to 5 times per week.

To achieve the most effective outcomes, we highly recommend exploring both treatment times (ranging from 10 to 30 minutes) and color modes.

Mode 1 (deep red, near-infrared, and golden amber light) is particularly beneficial for addressing concerns like wrinkles, redness, and pigmentation, while Mode 2 (blue and near-infrared light) is better suited for reducing inflammation, acne, and blemishes.

For those with multiple concerns, combining color treatments in a single session is a great option. For instance, incorporating 15 minutes of Mode 1 followed by 15 minutes of Mode 2 can provide a comprehensive approach to tackle various skin issues at once.

The Koanna® Light Therapy Mask has a total of 128 LEDs with 372 beams of light, divided as follows:

Mode 1:
58 LEDs each with a near-yellow (605nm), red (630nm), deep red (660nm) and infrared (850nm) beam = 232 beams of light.
8 LEDs with one red (630nm) and one infrared beam each = 16 beams of light.

Mode 2:
62 LEDs with one blue (460nm) and one infrared (850nm) beam each = 124 beams of light.

The Koanna® Mask uses Red (630nm), Deep Red (660nm) and Near Infra-Red Light (850nm) to increase energy production in your cells. It improves circulation, reduces inflammation, and boosts collagen for better skin tone and anti-aging effects.

The Koanna® LED Mask features Near Yellow (Amber) light at a wavelength 605nm. It has a shallow penetration level, which makes it an effective treatment for a range of skin issues.

It activates key mechanisms for cell renewal, resulting in improved skin appearance and benefits such as reduced rosacea redness, balanced skin tone, improved pigmentation, and enhanced lymphatic flow.

The Koanna Mask emits Blue light at 460nm wavelength, which has been shown to kill acne-causing bacteria in pores and oil glands. It also reduces redness and inflammation in the skin's outer layer. A 2009 study showed that daily use of blue light significantly reduced acne lesions and improved skin condition.

Although the Koanna® LED mask has not been specifically studied for the treatment of psoriasis, rosacea or eczema, many users have reported significant improvements in their symptoms.

Studies and experience of red light therapy have shown that in some cases there may be a reduction in the symptoms of psoriasis, rosacea and eczema.

However, individual results may vary, so it is advisable to consult a dermatologist for individual advice.

We do not recommend the mask for people suffering from genetic skin disease, lupus emphysematosus, photosensitive eczema or albinism.
